Radiography is an important part of everyday practice at Horsemed SA Morphettville and Hills. We have five digital radiography systems and this allows us to radiograph horses in racing stables, on properties and in both of our Clinics. Furthermore, several systems are completely wireless and cordless.
Radiographic images can be assessed immediately by our veterinarians and they are stored in a ‘cloud’ in our computer database. This allows us to access them at anytime including remotely and email them to interested parties as required.
Radiography may be undertaken for a variety of reasons including lameness issues, poor performance, farrier assessment, yearling sales, assessment for medical and surgical cases and during orthapedic surgery.
