Morphettville Equine Clinic
Bringing In Your Horse
An appointment is required to bring your horse to the clinic, unless in the case of a dire emergency.
There is parking for 4 horse floats or trucks in the clinic carpark and ample parking across the road at the racecourse or in the public parking adjacent to the tramline, north of the clinic.
For routine lameness and pre-purchase evaluations, the horse should be in regular work and is well shod on all four feet to enable an accurate asessment by the lameness clinician. They should also not have received anti-inflammatories in the past 48 hours.
It is not necessary to bring food for your horse unless your horse has special dietary requirements. In cold weather, it is useful to bring your horse's own rugs.
